Apex bulkification — is the "one trigger per object" rule still load-bearing in 2026?

Newer trigger handler frameworks split things up by feature. Curious if anyone has pushed back on the classic single-trigger guidance.

Apex governor limits — async vs. queueable for 1M-row processing?

Need to recompute a derived field on ~1M records nightly. Batch Apex has been fine but I am hitting heap limits on the post-processing. Looking at queueable chains.
